Snowy Oregon Elopement with a Cozy Cabin Party

March 8, 2019

Last month, I took a biiiiig step out of my comfort zone, and flew out to Oregon all on my own!!! This was my first time renting a car and staying in a suuuper sketchy motel by myself, (fuun stories there, ask me about it later lol) and explored the gorgeous winter wonderland of Oregon!! It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Oregon, so when Dawn hosted a one day workshop, with no hesitation, I took two days off work and booked my flight!!

The first day I used to explore and sight see! Apparently I came during a unicorn time for Portland, cause there was snow EVERYWHERE. It was the most amazing sight to see. I had a couple recommendations for coffee shops, one waterfall item on my list and a dinner reservation with my new bff from the workshop!! It was such a fun day and it was honestly so free and liberating to road trip on my own with no judgment to music playlist lol!!

The second day I attended a workshop hosted by @dawnphoto and @maeandcocreative it was a complete dreammm. We stayed at The Woodland House, which ya’ll, is the most gorgeousss freaking cabin everrr. #goals Dawn was a total SWEETHEART. And Mae and Co created magic with her snowy Oregon elopement. The hot tub at the end afterward during our cozy cabin party, was such coolest unexpected surprise!! Everyone was so kind and courteous of everyone’s turn taking photos. It was an amazing experience, and i’m SO glad I took a chance and went! Can’t wait for many more workshops in the future!!
